Welcome to the guide on running Umineko on Linux.

Update (Jan 19, 2010):
I'm slowly working on trying to make some nice .deb packages so that way you can install onscripter-en in Linux directly. It really currently is much better than running with Wine which gives me several stability problems occasionally.

Currently, I am working on getting nice guides up for running Umineko for a good chunk of the major distros out there. While, this will be a slowly updating project, I will be trying to write this up in a way that utilizes most of the functionality in the distro and trying to evade the command line. As a small warning, I run gentoo, so I may not have found the best GUI based ways to do this having been taught on the command line.

Please note, these guides assume you have the dvd of Umineko! Please purchase Umineko and help support those who make such an amazing game!

The distros!

Scripts that could be useful in your Umineko journey.

This guide utilizes Wine to play this game. If you hate Wine with a passion and don't mind doing a bit of compiling, then I suggest you look at this guide.

If you end up finding a better way to do some of these things, please let me know and I will try to end up incorporating that into these guides.
